Defining Moments Photography was established by Dana MacIntyre in 2010. Dana is an award-winning portrait photographer, and specializes in custom maternity, newborn, baby milestone, and family portraiture. Defining Moments has captured hundreds of families over the past 10 years in the Guelph area. However, after relocating in the Fall of 2020 to her hometown roots, Dana & Defining Moments Photography now proudly services Owen Sound and the surrounding areas, including Shallow Lake, Southampton, Port Elgin, Sauble Beach, Collingwood, and the Bruce Peninsula.

Being in close proximity to Lake Huron and Georgian Bay provides endless beach and waterfront location options for outdoor sessions.
I personally love the water, and really enjoy capturing sessions with families amongst the shorelines, from Port Elgin all the way up the Bruce Peninsula.
This particular session was captured at Sauble Beach, ON in mid-September. We had mild weather, beautiful evening light, and this beautiful, fun-loving family was up for everything and anything!
I love a soft, neutral colour palette, especially for beach sessions, and this family’s outfit selections were perfection!
