New Arrivals: Newborn Portraits

Choosing to capture your newborn baby is one of the most significant and best investments you can make!
They are only this small for a short time!

Newborn sessions are completed Monday-Friday during the morning hours.

Newborn sessions take place within the first 14 days of baby’s arrival.

Two package options to select from: the Full Session -or- the Petite Session

You can choose to capture your baby within a “posed” newborn session at my in-home studio in Shallow Lake, ON,
OR
you may opt to have the session completed at home via a more relaxed “lifestyle” portrait approach.

IN-STUDIO Option:

With the “posed” in-studio newborn session, there are two (2) package options to choose from: the Full Session, or the “Petite” Session.

Depending on the session option, newborn sessions may focus on baby only, or may include parent, sibling, and immediate family portraits. 

A detailed prep guide is provided in advance that outlines what to expect, and how to prepare for your newborn portrait session.

The studio offers an ample collection of newborn props and accessories to suit the style of imagery we provide.

IN-HOME LIFESTYLE Option:

Approximately 90 minutes is allotted for a full in-home lifestyle session.

These sessions take place within 2-3 areas of the client’s home that have a good source of natural window light, such as the baby’s nursery, the master bedroom, and/or the living room.

Lifestyle sessions focus on baby and immediate family members within the natural home environment.

No props, backdrops, or artificial lighting equipment are used for these sessions.
