Session Share: Lake Huron Family Session

This summer I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting several families who have scheduled a portrait session with me while vacationing in the area! I love this idea, and have actually done it in the past with my own family!

I met this beautiful, easygoing family on a warm June evening in Sauble Beach, and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together! Little Alex was the sweetest boy, and definitely kept us on our toes! When photographing toddlers, I always have a loose plan in mind but am flexible to change it up as needed. I like to follow their lead and incorporate a lot of play and games to keep them interested and engaged. Often times, my most favourite shots tend to be the unscripted, un-posed shots that happen candidly and authentically. I love the variety of images from this session, and am honoured that I was able to help in capturing a snippet of this family’s time together in a place that’s special to them.
