Summer Lovin’: Capturing Families on Vacation

Those who live in Grey-Bruce know how fortunate we are to live where we do and can understand why our area is such a highly-desired tourist location during the summer months. As a family portrait photographer within close proximity to the shores of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron, I have had the utmost pleasure of meeting and photographing many clients from out of town who have commissioned me to capture their families while in the area on vacation. Vacations are about creating cherished memories while relaxing with your favourite people, and what better way to do that than through a professional family portrait session?!

Meeting new people and learning about their stories is certainly one of the many highlights of my job! I am honoured each and every time a family chooses me to help them document a small part of their story. I have had the honour of capturing two proposals on the shores of Lake Huron, in Sauble Beach and Southampton respectively. Several times I have also had the privilege of being welcomed by clients to their private family cottages on Lake Huron and on the shores of Georgian Bay, as these spaces are deeply personal and significant to them, which in turn makes the images all the more meaningful.
